Introduction to 'Anxiety Relief Toolkit - A Support And Learning Group'

Details

I'm excited to announce a new group on "Building an Anxiety Relief Toolkit”, starting soon! This event is meant to be an INTRODUCTORY call to help you learn more about this group.

It will also be a nice opportunity to meet all of you and answer any questions. Feel free to attend even if you are unsure of joining, so that you can get a better idea if this group would be helpful to you.

Note: This support group runs over 5-6 weeks and cannot be joined in the middle, so only the introductory call will be hosted on Meetup.

More about the Support Group:

For the last 2 years, I’ve been running support & learning groups to help create a safe environment to learn, reflect and share on topics related to mental health & wellbeing, so we can try to heal together with a sense of support and community🙌. This is a free and voluntary initiative.

Here’s a short overview about the upcoming group on "Building an Anxiety Relief Toolkit”. We’ll discuss all this in detail and much more in this introductory event.

  • Together we’ll complete an incredible course created by experienced psychotherapist - Andrea Wachter, which offers many practical tools to help soothe anxiety.

  • We’ll spend our group meetings learning the course, practicing the tools & sharing our challenges & insights.

  • You’ll find a lot more information about this group and sign up for the group directly on my website, even if you can’t make it to this event.

  • Weekly online meetings for 1hr 15min over 5-6 weeks

  • Approximate Time - 6pm CET on either Monday or Thursday (exact date/time TBD)

  • Group is completely free to join. Course costs ~$20.

  • Attend for as long as you like, there are no hard commitments.

  • I have no affiliation to this platform or course.

There is no dearth of resources on this topic. But often the hardest part is integrating them into our lives all by ourselves. The past groups were an insightful and incremental process of healing for so many of us😇. I would love to continue sharing this experience with others!

About me:

I’m a software engineer and I’m passionate about hosting support groups around topics of health and wellbeing. Having gone through several health challenges over many years, I am deeply interested in lifestyle based self-care methods for good health and wellbeing. I hope that this work will help me heal my own trauma and remember these experiences as something that helped many of us heal and grow. I’ve named this project “Wellness Seedlings” :)
