About us

Hi folks! I'm Lauren, and I teach yoga, meditation, and embodiment practices here in San Diego. My passion is bringing people together to practice embodied attention in nature. Most of my best friendships have come through showing up for yoga related events and shared practice. I hope I can facilitate some meaningful connections for you all.

A bit about me:
My background is dance and I’ve been teaching movement since 2006. I started teaching yoga in 2016, and after life chapters in NYC and LA I’m here in SD to stay. I received my BFA in Dance from New York University, my MFA in Dance from University of California, Irvine, and have spent countless hours in a wide array of yoga teacher trainings, including hatha, vinyasa, yin, mindfulness meditation, trauma-informed yoga, and embodiology. Studying yoga philosophy and spiritual seeking has become a way of life for me. My offerings are rooted in presence, curiosity, and shared connection. You can learn more about me and my offerings on my instagram (@laurenetter.retreats) or my website (www.laurenetter.com)

Why Join?
Early morning is a potent time for cultivating mindfulness. The rising morning light, the rhythm of the ocean, the vastness of the horizon, and gathering in community invite healing and inspiration.
Walking meditation is an ancient practice that invites us to move with awareness, one step at a time. Rooted in Buddhist tradition, it transforms something as ordinary as walking into a way of attuning to breath, body, and the rhythms of the earth. On the beach, the sound of the waves and the feel of the sand naturally draw us into presence, making each step a chance to experience clarity, ease, and connection.
