Fancy a vitalizing swim?
Each week we do a cold plunge in the park and one of our sessions is now open for you to join!
we start with a breathing exercise and then go in for a few minutes - everyone as long as they like - some for 5 some for 1
There's a ladder for safe entry and exit.
Around this time of year the water gets quite cold, so here are a few important disclaimers:
Please bring a swim suit, towel, warm socks, warm jacket and maybe even gloves to warm up on your way home. And drink a lot of water to hydrate throughout that day.
Also, have some food in the morning so your body has enough energy at its disposal to heat you up.
lastly, make sure you've taken some cold showers recently and consider dipping only your legs in during your first time. do not join if you have pre-existing health conditions. we are a very supportive group but we are not responsible for your safety.
