WellRailed is a meet up for those interested in all things Ruby on Rails. From front end, to backend and testing, we love it all!
FYI: this meetup group used to be a placeholder/reminder. In the past all discussions + meeting details being organised and primarily announced on the google group here (it is still active):

Details
This July the team at Storypark will host us at their offices for a chance to learn more about their company and how they use Rails.
Storypark is a platform for early childhood teachers to document the learning journeys of the children they teach. It also helps parents and whānau engage with their children's learning.
Talks
- An engineer from Storypark will give a talk.
- "Over-complicating Photos", Jordan Crawford, Developer at Hatch Invest. Jordan walks us through his intentions and implementation of a personal project to display family photos with a very specific set of goals.
Q&A
During the meetup there'll be a Q&A for Storypark. This is your chance to ask anything you'd like to know. Are you curious about their tech stack, development culture, infrastructure?
You'll be prompted to ask a question during RSVP but you can also add your questions to this form.

In September the Delivereasy team will host us at their office to learn more about what they do and the technology they use.
Delivereasy is a NZ owned & operated delivery service that started delivering restaurant food in Welly in 2016, and has since expanded to 30+ areas in NZ. Originally built by one of the founders in Rails, the tech stack now has Rails + TypeScript + Flutter.

PaperKite is a digital agency with a strong focus on application development. They provide the technology behind BPMe, they created the original Hell mobile app, and many more of the apps you use each day.
