Challenge Walk- Fan Brycheiniog Llyn Y Fan Fawr/ Fach, B Beacons/ B Brycheiniog

Hi Everyone. This walk is a challenging circular walk on to Fan Brycheiniog and the Carmarthen Fans in in the Western Brecon Beacons. We will walk to the lakes and do a traverse of the Carmarthen Fans and Fan Brycheiniog before our return to our starting point for a well earned cuppa. The route involves about 16 km of walking on varied terrain and about 700 m of ascent/descent. If you have any questions just ask and I look forward to guiding you on my local mountains as an experienced Mountain Leader and Brecon Beacons ambassador.
I believe in Quality as opposed to Quantity, hence places on my walks are limited to keep group sizes manageable, in accordance with best practice for a fully qualified, experienced, insured, Mountain Leader.

You will need to carry, hat, gloves, spare warm top, lunch, water and snacks.
If you want to do some navigation coaching, just let me know in advance and I will bring a map and compass for you.
