Mental Health & Homesteading

Details

Have you felt better after a day in fresh air, some sunshine, with your hands in the dirt? Or cutting into that fresh loaf of sourdough that you've been growing and just baked? Or how about when you curl up on the sofa with your cat under a blanket you just finished crocheting?

That's right, homesteading skills have the power to heal you. Practice some mindfulness, grow/bake/preserve and share your own food, build community with like-minded people.

This week we're gonna check on the seeds you started a month ago, and now move onto direct-sow crops. What to plant, when to plant, in-ground versus container. Whether you have some backyard space or you live in an apartment, it is still beneficial to get a gardener's manicure and look forward to fall harvest.

I hope you will join me for two hours at the Crescent Grange. I will have any supplies needed. Let me know if you have questions and I cannot WAIT to see you there!

**This group is for 18 and older.
