USCCA Women’s Handgun & Self-Defense Fundamentals
Build confidence. Sharpen skills. Train with purpose.
This women-focused course is designed for beginners and intermediate shooters who want a safe, supportive, and no-pressure environment to learn and grow. Led through the USCCA curriculum, this class combines classroom instruction with live-fire range training at our climate-controlled indoor facility.
Who Can Attend:
• Women 21+
• Must have a valid New York State Pistol Permit
Skill Level:
Beginner to Moderate
Cost (Per 3-Hour Session):
$55 – AG & AG Members
$65 – Non-Members
What You’ll Learn
Part 1 – Basic Pistol
Firearm safety, shooting fundamentals, and the “why” behind owning a handgun
Part 2 – Intermediate Pistol
Ammunition, malfunctions, revolvers vs. semi-auto, skill refinement
Part 3 – Defensive Pistol
Mindset, defensive shooting, drawing from the holster, cover vs. concealment
Take all three sessions or complete in one 9-hour day. Certificates awarded upon successful completion.
Required:
• Proper range attire
• Eye & ear protection
• Semi-auto pistol (preferred) or revolver
• OWB holster (no IWB or SERPA)
• 100 rounds per session
