What we’re doing:
We’re rolling as a crew to Noche de Cumbia—live bands + vinyl DJs, outdoors at Quartyard. Expect classic and modern cumbia, easy social energy, and space to dance even if you’re brand new.
Who’s playing:
La Diabla (San Diego), Wachiwara (Los Angeles), and La Cosecha Internacional on vinyl.
Plan (meetup flow):
4:45–5:10 PM – Meet at the Quartyard entrance (look for me, I look like my profile pic 😁).
5:15–6:00 PM – Warm-up grooves + intro steps for beginners (informal, all levels).
6:00–9:00 PM – Dance, hang, grab food/drinks, vibe with the music.
Why come?
This isn’t just for seasoned dancers. It’s for anybody who’s curious—Latino or not, knows cumbia or doesn’t. If you’ve never heard it before, even better. This is an open invite to immerse yourself in one of the most joyful and community-driven parts of our culture. Think of it as a chance to experience the rhythm, energy, and soul of cumbia up close. No pressure, just vibes.
