West Bay Hand Drumming Weekly Circle
Details
About West Bay Hand Drumming
West Bay Hand Drumming is a community drum circle that brings together people of all experience levels through a shared love of rhythm, connection, and creative expression. Whether you are an experienced percussionist or trying a drum for the very first time, you will find a welcoming and supportive environment here.
We gather not to perform or compete, but to connect with one another through music—sharing energy, creativity, and the joy of making rhythm together. Our circle is built on values of inclusivity, attentive listening, mutual respect, and the belief that everyone has something to contribute.
While the African djembe is at the heart of our drumming tradition, participants bring a wide variety of percussion instruments, including shakers, doumbeks, maracas, tambourines, claves, cowbells, congas, bongos, and more. Every instrument and every participant adds a unique voice to the circle.
