What we’re about

This is a group for people who write or aspire to write Speculative Fiction.

Speculative Fiction covers a wide variety of genres - Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, Magic Realism, Gothic, Supernatural, and Weird.

Join us if:

· You’re writing Speculative Fiction and want feedback.

· You’re trying to write and need motivation.

· You’d like to write and need help getting started.

We meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 on the second floor at Ryan's Pub in West Chester

Our next critique meeting will be held on Monday, May 12, at Ryan’s Pub in West Chester. (We're generally in the booth at the back of the first floor.)

Submissions are accepted and distributed by our Dropbox account. If you have not received an invitation to our Dropbox account, send a message to - newbie1951@gmail.com.

Submissions should be saved to Dropbox by Thursday, May 8. I'll email a list of submissions on Friday, May 9.

Submissions can be:
· Work – Completed or In-Process speculative fiction.
· Plans – Outlines, character studies, submission letters, etc.
The target word count for submissions is 3000 words.

Participants are not required to submit, but everyone is expected to have read the materials and to participate in the discussions.
