West Coast Swing lessons 4-week session

Come join us for lessons followed by open dancing time.

6:30pm Beginning West Coast Swing lesson--no dance experience needed. This week will be week 1 of 4. We repeat our 4-week series every month. We'll get you started with a couple of basic moves. More info on our beginner-class schedule is below (scroll to the bottom).

7:30pm Intermediate West Coast Swing lesson--you must know your basics already. The 7:30 class is drop-in style. Each week is new and different.

No partners required. We rotate all partners in class.

8:15pm Social dancing until 9:30pm to DJ Woody.
Woody will play mostly West Coast Swing, with a few country two-steps, night-club two-steps mixed in.

We may close before 9:30pm if the size of the crowd (or lack thereof) warrants it, so come early!

$18 at the door per person, cash preferred.
Includes both lessons and the dance.
OR $60 per month, paid the 1st Thursday of the month.
only $5 to drop-in after 8:15pm.

Attire: nice casual.
Ladies: jeans or slacks and a nice top. Low-heeled or flat shoes that will stay on your feet (no flip flops or clogs)
Men: jeans or slacks. A polo shirt, button-down or hawaiian-style shirt are all appropriate.

Week 2: Review week 1. Add sugar push, starter step and throw out
Week 3: Review Week 2. Add tuck turn.
Week 4: Review tuck turn. Add basic whip.
