Welcome West Coast Swing (WCS) dancers and wannabes!! They say the hardest part about learning to dance is getting to your first class or dance. We agree. Come on out and give us a try. We have lots of opportunities for you to join our fun, friendly and diverse community of dancers. West Coast Swing is one of the hottest partner dances on the planet - it's the one everyone is loving on TikTok as Improv. It's everywhere around the globe. It's fun and creative. All you need is the desire to learn and enjoy dancing. We'll help you reach that goal. And it's super fun.

NO Partner is needed, but a partner and/or friends are always welcome! We rotate plenty in our classes and we dance with everyone. Dress casual. Meet new friends, enjoy a wide variety of music, and learn & dance WCS, It's so much FUN! We are beginner-friendly. Group lessons are an easy way to learn dancing as well as to improve your skills. Stay for the social dance and have fun with it. Isn't that what it's all about? Did we say our group is friendly, diverse and fun! It's time to get to dancing. Everyone is welcome. If not now, when?

We host a WCS dance EVERY Tuesday from 7:30-10:30PM. We offer an Intermediate lesson for the more experienced dancers. Our Intermediate lessons are from 7:30-8:05pm and are drop in lessons. We focus here on adding moves and movement, dance skills and more to what you've got. We encourage our Intermediate dancers to join us for free in our Beginner classes to continue improvement as well as help us welcome our newcomers. Our Beginner lessons are 8:05-8:40pm. These lessons are geared to BRAND new dancers, those wanting to improve their basics or learn the opposite role. The lessons are followed by a fun DJed Social DancePparty from 8:30-10:40PM at Universal Dance Studio, 41 E. Crescent Blvd, Rt 130, Collingswood, NJ. COST:$15 per person for the night.

We also host a monthly dance the 3rd Saturday of each month, also at Universal Dance Studio in Collingswood, NJ. We offer a 40 minute WCS lesson here at 7:00pm, followed by a social dance party from 7:45pm to 11pm @ $20 per person.

We have a monthly Boot Camp and a monthly Group Practice which helps everyone either learn the dance or continue learning more about it. These lessons/workshops are held in our home studio located in the Collingswood , NJ area. Contact us for dates or check our website www.robandsheiladance.com

We have also added a monthly dance on the 1st Saturday of the month at Storm Ballroom Dance Centre, 1652 Kings Hwy, N, Cherry Hill, NJ. starting Feb 7th, 2026. We offer a 40 minute WCS lesson here at 7:00pm, followed by a social dance party from 7:40pm to 11pm @ $20 per person.
