We love dancing. We love beginners. Everyone is welcome.
West Coast Swing (WCS) classes. Seen on Tik Tok as Improv or Modern Swing, West Coast Swing (WCS) is sweeping the planet. No partner or experience is required. Come solo or bring a friend or carload.
WELCOME BEGINNERS & BEYOND!
OUR CLASSES START @ SIMULTANEOUSLY @ 7:45pm. 8:30 BOTH groups join for a practice after class
Choose the group class that works best for you.
PURE BASICS - TIME FOR BEGINNERS: In these classes you’ll learn the Basics you need to get off to a good start with WCS dancing. These include our basic 6 and 8 count rhythms and patterns: You'll learn the push break/sugar push; left side pass and right side pass/underarm turn and a sugar tuck. We’ll have you on the dance floor in no time enjoying social dancing and making new friends. This is also a great class to refresh your Basics and/or learn the opposite role. We encourage you to stay and dance a few songs during the practice.
BEYOND THE BASICS - I'VE GOT IT! LET'S ADD ON: in these classes you'll be adding in variations of the Basics, and good dance skills to your dance tool kit. Here's where you start leveling up your dancing. We encourage you to stay and get some time dancing.
Wear comfortable clothing.
Shoes with a leather or plastic sole is preferable as rubber grips wooden floors (if you come with sneakers preferably the soles are worn in.
No partner or experience needed. We rotate in classes.
Lots of free parking in the shopping center.
