What we’re about
Most can relate that it can be difficult forming new friendships as an adult, and being in a big city doesn’t seem to make it any easier. Whether you’ve recently moved to the GTA like me, or you’ve found that your long-term friendships are in different stages of life, or are simply looking to expand your social network, this group is for you. We’re a group of young working professional women looking to forge meaningful supportive friendships with other women, while exploring the city and making fun memories. It’s not always easy forging friendships with other women. This group is for those who have genuine and positive intentions towards other females and are looking for the same. While this group is geared towards those in their 20s and 30s, women of older ages are also very welcome to join.
I’ll try to host events throughout the GTA (and sometimes beyond), but many will likely be towards the West End. Members are highly encouraged to propose or host events for anything they are interested in.
Most of the events will not have a group fee, but some will in order to help cover the Meetup platform’s organizer fees.
Group rules
- Please keep your RSVPs up-to-date. After 3 no-shows within a 12 month period, your group membership may be terminated.
- Please try to attend as many events as possible. This group is meant for active members.
