Humber River Cleanup!

Piggybacking onto the Toronto Adventures River Cleanup! (If you don't have your own kayak/canoe, contact them here: https://www.torontoadventures.ca/humber-river-cleanups/)
Weather permitting, we will launch from Old Mill, paddle down towards the lake and remove as much plastic/waste from the banks of the Humber River as possible.
SAFETY FIRST, please be careful around anything that could be rusty and/or cut you. (Abandoned fishing hooks etc.) Anything major, we can flag for later removal. It is nesting season, please give all wildlife a wide berth.
Suggested cleanup gear:
- Reacher / Grabber Tool
- Dishwashing / thick work gloves
- Thick Plastic bag/pail for garbage
I will bring some extra clean up gear along.
By joining, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own safety and will do nothing to endanger anyone else's safety!
Please remember to bring a life jacket for every person in your watercraft!
