Pre-Mother’s Day walk 💐around Ashridge & Northchurch Common

Don’s cracking new walk from 6 months ago has been requested again, so let’s do it.

We will leave @ 10:30 prompt from the Ashridge House car park HP4 1NS. (NB: this is not the monument!) This is a FREE car park. The group will not be waiting for anyone who is not on time 🚙

To start Don takes us from the House to pick up the Princes Riding to Thunderdell
Cottages 🏡 We then cross the road to Gryme's Dell. The walk then takes us past Tom's Hill House, Norcott Hill to Northchurch Common. Moving further on we pass Northchurch Farm 🐖🐄🐓 to cross fields and little tracks to Coldharbour Farm 🐂🚜 finally making our way back to the House, where we’ll indulge in some tasty refreshments from the Bakehouse 👩🏻‍🍳🥯🍪🥐🧁☕️🫖

PS. Will probably add in a cheeky visit to the Ice House ice too 🧊🏠 It’s very interesting.

Will take roughly 2-5-3 hrs and will be 6 miles long.
