English folk dancing in St Albans!

An excellent chance to experience traditional English folk dancing with a 'caller' who will teach us the moves and a live band to dance the moves to.
This is my weekly club but once a year we have a new beginners night as part of the St Albans folk festival weekend.
Entrance fee is £4 cash or card payable at the interval (8.45pm)
Dancing starts at 7.45pm and I will meet you in the church hall.
Parking is limited, there is a restriction outside the hall til 10pm. So park in London road car park (charges apply) and walk up Marlborough road to the hall.
We retire to a local hostelry (optional) after the dancing.
Many people including me come on their own and there will always be someone to dance with, you will get to dance with many different people throughout the night, which is actually encouraged, so don't worry about coming alone or with a partner, you will be made very welcome.
In fact if you do enjoy it, you can come back again as often as you like.
