Father’s Day walk - Kings Langley to Chipperfield Circular.

Details
If you’re not with your father at this time, whether it’s seeing him another day, or simply want to remember him, then you’re welcome to join us on this walk
We leave @ 10:30 prompt from the Rose & Crown car park, 60 High St, Kings Langley WD4 9HT. The group will not be waiting for anyone who is not on time 🚙
To start, we walk up a fairly steep hill (which The Grand Old Duke Of York walked his men up... or at least parallel to it!) and once at the top, will check out the actual ruins of the old Crystal Palace, that are actually in someone’s front garden! We’ll then cross an open field to visit an old abandoned secret bunker 🕵🏼♂️ 🪖
Once observed we’ll carry on through fields and woods 🌳 to the ancient Apostle’s Pond, with its surrounding lime trees (one for each apostle). We’ll return through country lanes, fields and little walkways to complete an approximate 5.5-6 mile route.
Will be roughly 2.5-3 hours. We’ll have some nuts and lemonade in the pub garden at the end 🍺🥪🥤🥜
NB: Cost is £2 due to increased Meet Up subscription. Please pay on the day or preferably beforehand via this link: [https://www.paypal.me/aac007?locale.x=en_GB](https://www.paypal.me/aac007?locale.x=en_GB) Please choose friends & family option only
If you enjoy the event we encourage participants to add a message and/or pictures on the past events page. Other members can and do read them, which gives them an idea of future events. 📸 👍🏻
If you are unable to attend for any reason please ensure you change your RSVP to not going. Not doing this results in holding up everybody else, which is unfair on all. My contact number on the day is 07376 796266
