Nickey line circular walk 🚂

This historic walk is always popular, as reasonably easy with lots of scenery changes. This time I’m going to reverse it, which I’ve never done before!

We leave @ 10:30 🕥 from the Midland Hotel pub, HP2 5BH. The landlady has said that we can all park in her car park and has saved us a little area in the pub after if needed ☕️🍺 The group will not be waiting for anyone who is not on time 🚙

To start, we get straight onto the old Nickey line 🚂 which we follow for over 2 miles right up to the top of the town and then pull off to skirt the top playing fields ⚽️ Onto little tracks and down a long country lane to Picketts End. Walk though a quaint area to Gadebridge Park 🌳 and then steadily make our way back to the pub 🍻🍷☕️

Approximately 6-6.5 miles. Will be roughly 2.5-3hrs.
