Let’s gather at one of London’s most iconic venues. Opened in 1937 as a roadside cafe for hauliers, the Ace became legendary in the 1950’s and 1960’s as a hub for motorcyclists, rock ‘n’ roll culture and the ‘ton up boys’. Its history is steeped in petrol, guitars and the freedom of the open road. Today, it’s still a vibrant meeting place for enthusiasts of cars, bikes and good food.

We will meet at 17:45 in the car park next to the cinema at Jarmen Park. Here we will quickly organise car shares and be ready to start our drive to the Ace Cafe at 18:00.

At the cafe we will have a meal before heading back to Hemel Hempstead.

The Ace offers hearty British and American diner classics alongside lighter options.

Pay as you go for your own meal and drinks. If you’re a passenger, it would be lovely if you could buy your driver a drink or chip in for their dinner.
