Boxmoor / Bourne End / Felden circular walk

Another new walk using variations of previous walks.

We leave at 10:30am prompt, from the edge of the moor opposite the Three Blackbirds pub, HP1 1NR. Please ensure you are ready to leave before the departure time 🚙

To start, we cross Box Moor over the bridge and back through a wooded trail towards the Fishery Inn, where we pick up the canal 🛶 We’ll shadow this for a couple of miles to Bourne End and pick up a long lane that goes up to and eventually under the A41 to drop down to the Bourne Gutter.
We pass by Coles Hill Wood 🌳 and round the perimeter of Little Hay Golf Course 🏌🏼‍♀️ After crossing Box Lane the route enters Stoney Lane through to Bury Wood and then Felden 🪵 A short walk through Roughdown Common to finish back at the pub 🍷🍺🍔🍟

Approximately 8 mile route. Will take roughly 3-3.5hrs.
