Berkhamsted to Boxmoor 7m Linear Walk

Come along for this in its own right or join up with the breakfast ๐ณ at 9am. (Do turn up early, as we will be in the pub anyway).
We will be leaving at 10:30am prompt, from the Crown pub ๐ 145 High Street, Berkhamsted. Park in Canal Fields car park 4 hrs FREE. Alternatively arrive by public transport like some of us will do ๐๐
Please be early enough, to find a parking space and get to the rendezvous point in time ๐ ๐๐ป
To start, we walk towards the castle ๐ฐ then through open fields and up towards the WW1 trenches ๐ช We will take a moment to remember the sacrifice that many have made for us โ๏ธ and then onto Berkhamsted Common. Passing through Berkhamsted Golf Course โณ๏ธ we may take a short break at the Alford Arms in Frithsden, or venture on. A bridle path then goes to the outskirts of Potten End Farm Horse Paddocks ๐ด then pass by a reservoir to pick up the Chiltern Way through Fields End, Shrub Hill Common and back to Boxmoor.
Weโll end up in the fantastic Grapes pub ๐ where the super generous lanlord Steve has looked after us with an amazing welcome spread every time weโve come back there ๐๐ฑ๐บ
(Train is literally 5 minutes back to Berko, or a kind soul may give you a lift back).
7 miles. Will take roughly 2.5-3 hrs.
