Christmas Walk in London 🥾🎄🎅🏼

Join us for a great Xmas walk in London, with plenty to see and do to experience the day.

We meet at JD Wetherspoon’s The Barrel Vault in St Pancras station at 10:45.
We will leave @ 11:00am prompt 🕚 and walk to Coal Drops Yard. Then follow the picturesque canal 🛶 to Camden Lock, where we plan to have a small breakfast 🍳 at the Wetherspoons next to the lock. We will spend about an hour in the lock area, where we can browse the many shops and markets.
We'll then walk about 30 minutes back to St Pancras to get the Thameslink train to blackfriars.
Anyone who wants to join later can wait for us by Uniqlo, Coal Drops Yard, or The Ice Wharf pub. Please leave a message or call me on 07801 260632 if joining late.

At Blackfriars we’ll walk along the South Bank, crossing the footbridge to Charing Cross Station, then onto Trafalgar Square and Leicester Square, where we can stop for a break and refreshments. From there, we'll continue to Covent Garden. I'll use some back lanes to avoid the busiest areas-then on to Lincoln's Inn Fields and Farringdon Thameslink Underground, where the walk will finish at around 16:00.

If you enjoy the event we encourage participants to follow up with a message and/or pictures after, on the event itself. Other members can and do read them, which gives them an idea of future events 📸 👍🏻

If you are unable to attend for any reason please ensure you change your RSVP to not going. Not doing this results in holding up everybody else, which is unfair on all.
