Aldbury to Ashridge circular walk

This is a new reversal walk, with a combination of a few different routes. Some of you will also be happy to hear that I’ve also taken out the huge hill to the monument 😊

We leave at 10:30am prompt from the outside the Greyhound pub, HP23 5RT. Park nearby or in the free car park 3 mins down the road 🚙
(Please be ready to leave 10 minutes early)

To start, we walk through a field and little enclosed lanes to skirt the golf course ⛳️ We then cross the road to picturesque open fields and into some woods, whereby we bear off into Ray Mears territory 🌳 battling all sorts of natural obstacles to finally get to a small trail that will eventually take us back onto the lane back to the very enchanting Greyhound pub ☕️🍺 Roughly 7 miles. Will take approx 3hrs.

Members are expected to take responsibility for their own preparation and safety (including fluids, weather protection and a snack).
