Tring Reservoirs & Grand Union Canal circular walk

If your New Year’s resolution is to lose weight and get fit, then here’s your chance to keep to it. Will be lovely to have a calming water led ramble for a change 🛶💦

We leave @ 10:30 prompt from the Startops car park, Marsworth 🦁 HP23 4LJ 🚙 Please be ready to leave 10 minutes prior so the group is not delayed.

We start by ambling up towards the Grand Union Canal before joining the Wendover Arm of it (disused), making our way through Tring Wharf then on to Wilstone Reservoir. We then skirt round the Reservoir through Wilstone Village and rejoin the Grand Union Canal to nonchalantly saunter back to our start point. We will descend back to The Angler’s retreat, whereby some of us will have something to eat and others, a rewarding beverage🍗🥦🥕🍖🍺☕️ They know we’re coming and have reserved places for us.
Roughy 2.5 hours and approx 5.5-6 miles.
