Non-Valentine’s Day Wendover Woods walk 💔

Now’s your chance to escape the Valentine’s hype 😄 Loveheart sweets optional 💝

We leave at 10:30am prompt from the Witchell Pavillion car park. HP22 6EG. FREE parking on Sunday! Please be ready to leave @ 10:20 🚙

Don leads us from the car park whereby we walk around the town to pick up the Wendover Arm Canal to Halton. Upon reaching Halton we skirt around the RAF base ✈️ and climb steadily to the top of Wendover Woods to the Visitor Centre where we can have a short break. From the Centre it's a Westerly track towards a hill fort 🏰 before descending out of the woods 🌲 down a long lane and back towards the town. Cafes and Pubs in the town should we wish to frequent them. Approx 6.5 miles. Will take roughly 2.5-3hrs.
