Studham to Markyate circular walk 🦋

Second time out for this new walk that Don and I put together. Neither of us had walked it before and found it very pleasant, with many changes in terrain.

We leave @ 10:30am prompt from the Bell pub. You can park in their car park if staying after, or alternatively park 2 minutes down the hill on the roadside.
Please ensure you are ready to leave 10 mins before the departure time 🚙

From the pub the walk heads down the hill and crosses the green to Studham common. We then go through 2 different woods 🪾🌳 to Beechwood Home Farm 🐑 🪿 🦤 At Kennels Lodge we head north to Roe End Lane crossing fields with glorious views to Markyate. We will take a half way stop here as they have a bakers, cafe and huge pub garden 🫔☕️🍷
The return picks up a track that passes Buckwood Stubbs, Deadmansey woods 🌲 and back to Studham common to finish at the superb Bell pub 🔔 They also sell hundreds of little nik-naks and a lovely food.
7 miles and will take roughly 2.5-3 hrs.
