Studham/Dunstable Downs/Whipsnade Tree Cathedral 🌳 walk

Gosh, last did this popular walk 16 months ago and was a cracker. The tree cathedral is a pretty interesting place if you’ve not seen it before 🌳🌲✝️

We leave at **10:30am prompt** from the small car park, around the common/near the Red Lion Pub 🦁 LU6 2QA. **Please ensure you are ready to leave 10 mins before the departure time** 🚙

To start, we walk away from the war memorial 🌺 through the common to pick up the Chiltern Way. We then pass Whipsnade Zoo 🐘🦒🦍🐆 (making sure we don’t leave some of you there!) following up into Studham Lane. This trawls along to Icknield Way and ends up at Dunstable Downs 🪁 We’ll admire the phenomenal views. Next stop will be the lovely Whipsnade Tree Cathedral 🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳 Then back along Studham Lane to Holywell and then saunter back through green fields to the Common.
We will frequent the Red Lion pub after for refreshments and a chat🍺☕️🍟
This walk is approx 7.5 miles and will take roughly 3-3.5 hrs.
