Wheathampstead, Coleman Green, Brocket Hall Circular Walk

10 months since this last outing. Always a popular route 👍🏻

We leave @ **10:30am prompt** from the East Lane Free car park AL4 8SB (Behind Miller & Carter) **Please ensure you are ready to leave 10 mins before the departure time** 🚙

From the car park we follow little tracks and enclosures before turning South and through the very picturesque Devil's Dyke 😈 At Beech Hyde Farm we cross some fields to Coleman Green where we’ll marvel at the Grade ll listed John Bunyan’s Chimney and then saunter off to follow bridle paths 🐴 to the Crooked Chimney Pub, where we’ll stop for a cheeky rest.
The walk then goes around and through Brocket Hall and its golf course ⛳️ to follow the trickling River Lea to a ford at Waterend 💦 and then make our way back to Wheathampstead. We’ll go on to partake in The Swan pub after 🦢
The walk will take roughly 3-3.5hrs and is approximately 7-7.5miles.
