Ayot St Lawrence/Kimpton Old English Walk

Brand new walk that Don and I recce’d last week.

We leave @ 10:30am prompt from outside the church near the Brocket Arms Pub. Ayot St Lawrence, AL6 9BT. Park anywhere along the road near the church. Car share if poss 🚙

Starting from Ayot St Lawrence we pass by the Palladian Church ⛪️ through Prior's
Wood 🪵 and traverse some fields and tracks to Kimpton. After walking through the village we take a road track to Hoo Park Cottages. The Hertfordshire Way then takes us back to Ayot St Lawrence via Kimpton Mill 💦 and finally Codicote Bottom.

The walk will take roughly 2-5-3hrs and is approximately 6.5 miles.

For those that want to, we will finish up in the garden at the Brocket Arms pub ⛱️
