Totternhoe Circular Walk

Another brand new walk that Don, Frixos and myself recce’d a 7/8 weeks ago. It’s a great part of the countryside and well worth a visit.

We leave @ 10:30 prompt from the little FREE car park. LU6 1QG. Please ensure you are ready to leave 10 mins before the departure time 🚙

From the car park we wind through little bridle paths to Castle Hill. This has its own Motte and Bailey and once looked around we’ll move onto Maiden Bower, which is actually an old Iron age Hill Fort. We then walk around the Knolls. Bridle paths once more back to Church End, then after passing the Old Farm Inn 🐄 we navigate field tracks to cross some meadows back to the Tottenhoe Pub, The Cross Keys, with it’s fantastic vista🍺🫚

The walk will take roughly 2.5-3 hrs and is approx 6.5 miles.
