What we’re about
West Kent Social Circle (formerly WK Social Circle Tunbridge Wells) are a small, friendly group who hold social events in and around the Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge area.
We hold regular mid week pub nights twice a month, where you can grab a bite to eat or just come along for a drink and a chat. We also offer a range of weekend activities, such as meals out, pub nights, cinema, theatre, summer bbqs, countryside walks, quiz nights, pub lunches, bowling, crazy golf, escape rooms and more. We try to offer activities that are relatively affordable and local.
We are NOT a singles or dating group. This group's aim is to organise fun activities for people to enjoy and enable people to socialise together and support each other. We have have a mix of singles and couples within the group. All ages are welcome, but most of our current members are in their 40's and upwards.
It is totally free to come to any West Kent Social Circle event (other than the cost of your own food/drink/ticket/etc) as we do not charge any membership fee. We are a non-profit making group not connected to any business or organisation. In order to offer a totally free membership experience, we are currently running a basic Meetup Group package, which allows us to advertise only two activities per month.
We invite you to come along to one or two of those mid-week pub nights and see if West Kent Social might be for you. If you might find it tricky coming along for the first time solo, then please do contact the event host and we will arrange to meet you outside the venue beforehand. If after one or two visits, you feel you might want to stick around, then we'll ask you to join our WhatsApp group, where you can book in to our weekend events, which cannot be advertised through Meetup.
