Fiona's Cranbrook via Benenden walk, circular - 8.5 miles, moderate

This is a lovely walk through the Kentish countryside.

We start in the Coop car park and walk to Benenden and beyond then take a different route back to Cranbrook.

There are a lot of livestock on this route, sheep, cows and a few horses. Also, plenty of stiles built of various heights and some a bit unsteady.

Lunch will be in a field so please bring a picnic lunch and drink. There will be no shops on route. The Coop will be open if needed for late provisions.

Due to the amount of livestock there will be no dogs on this walk.

Ramblers members are welcome on any of our walks, but we would still encourage you to RSVP on Meetup. This will give our volunteer walk leaders an idea of how many are attending, and also keep the numbers manageable. If, on the day of the walk, you are still on the waiting list and a Ramblers member, you can attend - just let the walk leader know you are coming by adding a comment 'Coming as a Rambler'.
