Roy M's Sevenoaks to Eynsford linear walk via Darent Valley, 11.5 miles moderate

We meet at Sevenoaks Station in the front car park. There are loo's, corner shops and the main car park is behind the station.

We set off north via Bradbourne Lakes Park then skirt the lakes of Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve and onto Otford Solar System to join the chalk stream in the Darent Valley at Otford Mill. We continue past Castle Fields Lavender Farm to Lullingstone Country Park via the picturesque village of Shoreham. Stopping for lunch in the park where there are outside picnic tables in a meadow, loo's and a cafe. We then continue by the picturesque Darent to Lullingstone Castle and World Gardens and then complete a loop around the golf course through meadows and woods of the country park. We then pass Lullingstone Roman Villa and follow the Darent under the Eynsford Viaduct past fields of livestock to the ford at Eynsford.

At this point the Eynsford Train station is a short walk away but if you wish to socialise before going to the station to get the train back to Sevenoaks there is a cafe at the ford and three pubs in Eynsford

Subject to walk leaders approval we do allow well behaved dogs under full control of their owner. If you wish to bring your dog on the walk, please check with the walk leader before arriving for the walk.

Please help the walk leader by bringing the exact change.Ramblers members are welcome on any of our walks, but we would still encourage you to RSVP on Meetup. This will give our volunteer walk leaders an idea of how many are attending, and also keep the numbers manageable. If, on the day of the walk, you are still on the waiting list and a Ramblers member, you can attend - just let the walk leader know you are coming by adding a comment 'Coming as a Rambler'.
