As November settles over the landscape, the natural world begins to turn inward. The trees release their final leaves, gardens retreat into the earth, animals grow quieter, and the days draw us toward earlier darkness and longer nights. Beneath the surface, roots continue their quiet work, nourished by the earth as the landscape rests and prepares for the season ahead.
We are not separate from these rhythms. Our bodies and spirits move with the same changing cycles of nature around us. After the outward energy of summer and the transition of early autumn, November offers its own invitation to soften our pace, gather our energy inward, and make space for rest. Just as the earth does not need to be constantly blooming to be alive and becoming, we do not need to remain in a season of constant doing. There is wisdom and nourishment in slowing down, settling into ourselves, and allowing what has accumulated to become quiet.
Rooted Under the Autumn Canopy is a sound bath journey created to honor this deeper rhythm of the season.
As you arrive, you’ll have the option to receive individual seasonal aromatherapy, with earthy, grounding scents inspired by the November landscape. Once you’ve settled into your space, we’ll begin with a gentle toe-to-crown body awareness and tension release, inviting your body to soften from the ground up.
From there, a transportive guided meditation will carry you further inward, creating an immersive landscape that guides you deeper into your mind, body, and spirit. The meditation will gradually become a bridge into the sound bath, allowing you to move seamlessly from the inner world of the visualization into the surrounding world of sound.
You’ll then be immersed in the vibrations of the Chinese Chau gong, 432 hz singing crystal bowls, Himalayan bowls, crystal harp, crystal pyramid, and various ethereal chimes as sound moves around and through you. Like resting beneath a canopy of autumn trees, the sounds create a space to feel held, grounded, and sheltered from the noise and momentum of the outside world.
This is an invitation to follow the rhythm of the season: to release, settle, turn inward, and rest beneath the quiet canopy of November.
