Walk, Talk and Help (one of our own!)

Details

Hello all!

To help re-spark this group I have been approached by Charles Josefson who has planned a gentle walking activity for us that should take approx. 1hr 30mins.

Charles is a PhD Researcher at King's College London. His research concerns neurodiversity and public urban spaces in London. He requires neurodivergent adults who are willing to walk through a few public urban spaces with him, explore those spaces, then complete a short survey in each space (all materials provided) on your experience of that space. All participants will choose a pseudonym, so survey responses cannot be traced back in any way to participants.

We will have a little task to give us a focus and we can also have chats as we go along - and afterwards!

So here's the plan . . . We will meet at 1pm in Exchange Square, directly behind Liverpool Street Station at the 'Broadgate Venus' sculpture. We will then proceed to Barbican, and then round to Greyfriars Gardens (Sensory Garden in WWII bombed out church), thence on to St Paul's Cathedral Festival Gardens, across the road to the 'Reflection Garden', and ending our walk at the Guildhall square. This seems an appropriate place, once the walk has ended, to gather and consider future activities for our group. We can do other walks and plan much besides!

Please do bring some drinks with you and a snack. If you would like more information about the route and the survey we can share an information booklet and the survey questions with you.

We really hope you can join us for an enjoyable walk! Let's get meeting and express ourselves! About our lives and the places we encounter on the walk!
