This is a fairly easy section of river, that requires basic control skills. We may have some deadfall or log hops but generally speaking an easier section overall. This section is 8-8 1/2 miles

Skill Level: Beginner/Intermediate
About a 40 min drive from campground.
Leave Campground at 9:10am

Please study your route to the put in and take out. Print out maps. Your phone GPS is not always accurate. There will not be an intentional caravan from the campground. Meet us at the put-in.

At the end of the trip the hosts will be looking for volunteers to drive people back to the cars at the put in.

Group Pic about 11 (Or sooner if the spotting run is back) It's a longish spot drive so. Social hour and boat organizing for those who are waiting at the put in.

Expect 3 1/2-4 hours on the river, We'll stop at Schecks Landing (about 2 hours in) to stretch our legs and lunch or snack.

Our sport is inherently dangerous. By signing up for this event you assume full responsibility for your and your quests safety, equipment and well being. The event includes but is not limited to loading, unloading, transport of equipment and shuttle participation. Failure to sign up for this event precludes participation in this group's events.

  2. Dry clothes in dry bag optional (unless required in description) but recommended
  3. We enjoy our alcoholic beverages off-river only due to safety and other concerns. Please respect the event host (It's awkward approaching someone mid-trip) and the clubs position on this matter. We’ll enjoy one with you afterward at camp or other venue
  4. We leave on time to make sure that those who have to drop out with out contacting us can do so. Please be on time or early.
  5. We get in the river together after the safety talk and picture. Please remain on land until the host has completed their duties in this regard.
