PADDLE for SATURDAY SEPT 27

No river has been picked yet! I'll repeat "NO RIVER HAS BEEN PICKED YET'.
It will depend on water levels and what is flowing. Possible choices would include the Black, a section of the Pigeon, the Sturgeon, Ocqueoc or something else. Check at the camp fire Thursday and Friday evening, we can discuss the pros and cons of all the different sections and come to an agreement.

If you plan to paddle and won't be at the campgrounds, you can text 231-629-6657, and I will forward all the info.

The preference is to do a section of the Black River Clarks Bridge road to Mulligan hwy but we can change to other rivers and sections.

Please remember you are responsible for your own safety.

1. PFD Required
2. Dry clothes, in a dry bag and some in your vehicle optional but recommended
3. we enjoy our alcoholic beverages off-river only due to safety and other concerns. Please respect the event host (It's awkward approaching someone mid-trip) and the clubs position on this matter. We’ll enjoy one with you after the trip.
4. We leave on time to make sure that those who have to drop out with out contacting us can do so. We also can't wait for those who will be running late to keep the paddle in order. Please be on time or early.
5. We leave together after the safety talk and picture. Please remain on land until the host has completed their duties in this regard.

Our sport is inherently dangerous. By signing up for this event you assume full responsibility for your and your guests safety, equipment and well being. The event includes but is not limited to loading, unloading, transport of equipment and shuttle participation. Failure to sign up for this event precludes participation in this group's events.
