Spring Stately Home

Welcome back to the fabulous Haden Hill House, which is a surprisingly diverse and accessible venue. The wide range of backdrops and natural light options will offer some lovely beauty fashion looks. We look forward to a nice relaxed event with another excellent ratio of models. We have the exclusive use of the 17th Century Old Hall. This includes a dressed banqueting room, kitchens and others dating from this period, as well as a suite of dressed rooms from the 1940s.
The gardens are VERY large and offer wide variety for our shoot. You can use the pretty backdrops of mini lake, woodland, flowerbeds, grasses etc. We will also be using the Dragon Gazebo and historical textured House exteriors.
We will have exclusive use of the fabulous Old Hall for a 3 hour shoot with many rooms and backdrops to choose from! We will have mains metered lighting options with soft box and umbrella modifiers and transceivers there for your cameras. I will post some pictures below soon to give you a better idea of just some of the shooting options we have.
So we will have an exciting range of looks again for us to expand our repertoire and learn to capture new looks. I will be updating both here and our Facebook page as the creative looks are developed for you!
There is free car parking on site and we can use the staff car park directly next to the House. (N.B. the confirmed time for the staff car park and House to be opened up for us is at 1pm. The public car park and grounds are open 24/7 if you wish to arrive early and have a wander round. Toilets are in the House available from 1pm.)
Lunch will be available from 1:30pm and the shoot itself commences at 2-2:30pm, which gives the HMUAs time to deliver beauty fashion looks for our models. Your place includes your "Portfolio" photography permit. N.B. The House Museum is open as well if new to you it makes a nice additional visit to the shoot.
It is a stunning location for a photoshoot and is in fact one of my personal favourites in the 6 years of our Meetups! So as mentioned included we will provide a light lunch (guaranteed for those who RSVP at least 3 days before). We have been granted exclusive access as before to the site cafeteria. We may elect to eat outside if particularly fine.
As usual we will be working hard to get you another very good shooting ratio (recently averaging around 1:2 even 1:1 and well below our target published ratio of 1:5), which works well and we expect as normal all friendly participants to take a fair turn in rotation. With 3 hours you will be spoilt for photo choices!
We are a very friendly group as you will see from previous feedback and all levels of photography experience are welcomed, and we regularly learn from each other in style and technique.
The fee for the session (including Paypal fee of £1-90) is £56-90 which is terrific value!
Previous images have won awards online, won competitions and been published in UK magazines and internationally.
We DO recommend bringing a flashgun too for fill in flash and to add to your lighting options, or portable lighting kit if you have it of course. If you wish to bring your own mains powered lighting that will be fine, please just discuss this with me beforehand so that we can allocate you somewhere suitable to set up, as there is mains power but not as much as in a modern building! Please note that as always you are responsible for your own kit so do be careful where you leave it. As this also comprises of outdoor shooting please do consider bringing sunscreen, a brolly and appropriate dress for UK weather!
