December Podcast Club Meet Up (virtual) - Festive Games & Chit-Chat

Welcome to December's West Midlands Podcast Club meetup! Come in your best festive knit. This event will be online via Google Meets (when you sign up, you'll be sent a link to join), and we have a great guest speaker lined up for you (more info below).
All types of podcasters are welcome! This is a safe space to learn from each other and improve our podcasting skills together. This includes podcasters who are yet to launch, have recently started, and the more advanced who have been doing it for a while.
Not started a podcast? No problem, together we'll help you launch and overcome the obstacles in your way.
Not from the West Midlands or the UK? Again, no problem! This event is online meaning anyone from around the world can join. We're global baby!
Agenda
- 6.30pm - (virtual) doors open
- 6.40pm - Christmas quiz
- 7.25pm - break (get yourself a cuppa or something stronger e.g. mulled wine...?)
- 7.35pm - reflections on the last year
- 8.05pm - goal setting for next year
- 8.30pm - end: all good things must end, but we'll be back next month!

Doing things a little differently this time, seeing as it's the festive time of year.
We'll play some games, our usual podcast chit-chat/catch up, and don't forget to bring a festive drink like hot chocolate or mulled wine!
The link to enter our Christmas jumper competition will be shared during the meetup, so you need to be there if you want to enter. You have to be in it, to win it!
How to join
Joining this online session is easy, just follow these steps:
- Click 'Attend online'
- You'll then be prompted to sign in to Meetup (if you aren't already, of course)
- Click the Airtable link in 'Online event'
- You'll then be taken to a form
- Fill in your details
- You'll receive an email shortly before the event is due to happen, with a link to Teams (usually 30mins before)
Make sure to sign up in plenty time before the event, if you have issues, or don't receive the link to join you can reach out to us on Meetup.
If you have already signed up via this process, you don't need to sign up again, you'll receive the teams link automatically to the email you signed up with.
We added additional security steps, as we had some issues in the past.
