ABOUT THE MEETUP
This is a group for both ladies and gentlemen, singles and couples who are currently finding it frustrating like myself to find exciting like minded individuals to go out with during the day or evening, within the south and other areas of London too.
Do you have different interests to your friends, has your best friends moved away, friends are married, have a young family, or are you new in London? If so this is the group for you. The events will take place whenever i find something exciting to attend, please feel free to join us, the group is for positive individuals who want to do something new for a change with like minded fun people. For example Burlesques Shows, 1920's, 30's, 40's 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's events, Jive/Swing Dancing, Line Dancing, Afro Beats, Salsa, River Dancing Shows, Comedy Shows, Pop Up Events, Food Festivals, Street Food Markets, Theater, Cinema, Opera, Celebrating other people's cultures ,Dinners, Lunch, Picnics, Weekends away, Holidays, Spas and lots more.
If anyone has a suggestion for an event please share with me and will see what i can do, all suggestion are appreciated. Additionally if you would like to host an event please feel free to do so, you must have attended at least 10 meetups over 12 months, so that other members can get a better understanding of who you are as a person.
We no longer charge a £10 annual fee instead for most events there will be an additional fee, payment goes towards admin, hosting etc

Have you always wanted to visit Georgia, but no one to go with, join me on an adventure as we explore this enchanting city, with its colourful streets and warm hospitality, inviting us to immerse ourselves in its unique cultural landscape. Holiday from 12 - 18th September
This holiday is for up to 12 travellers, however the trip will go once i have 4 deposits, if not the holiday will be cancelled and you will be refunded in full.
Itinerary
Day 1
We leave from Gatwick airport in the wee hours with a stop over in Istanbul for 20 hours (Don't stress now) Good news we get to stay in Istanbul overnight in a 4 star hotel and also explore the city of Istanbul.
Later in the evening we will take in sights of the Bosphorus on board a mega yacht. Enjoy the city view with a 3-course meal with unlimited drinks both soft and alcoholic drinks while you listen to live music and watch stage performances at private tables.
Day 2
Early flight from Istanbul to Georgia Tbilisi. On arrival we are transferred to our hotel. FREE TIME TO EXPLORE
4pm Join me on a fascinating walking tour exploring the Old Town with a guide tour for 3 hours, discovering Tbilisi like a local! Explore historical sites, get insider tips, and take stunning photos.
Day 3
After breakfast at 9am we explore Kakheti, the wine-producing region of Georgia. We will visit Badiauri Village, Sighnaghi, one of the most prominent wineries in the country, and a local family winery.
We will discover the Khaketi Region. Explore this area renowned for its stunning landscapes, ancient vineyards, and rich cultural heritage, with a wine-tasting experience.
- Immerse yourself in the rich history and culture of Kakheti on a guided tour
- Explore the heart of Kakheti in Telavi and visit the Batonis Tsikhe fortress
- Enjoy a scenic drive through the vineyards of Kakheti and taste local wines
- Discover the picturesque hilltop town of Sighnaghi, the "City of Love"

Day 4 FREE TIME
Day 5
After breakfast 8.30am meet up with guide to discover how freedom lives in the mountains as you explore the breathtaking Kazbegi area, visiting the Zhinvali Reservoir, the Ananuri Fortress, Gudauri, and Kazbegi.
- Visit the Zhinvali Water Reservoir and wander around the Ananuri Fortress
- Taste different varieties of natural alpine honey
- Admire the Friendship Memorial in Gudauri
- Have some free time for mountain activities like horse riding, and quad biking additional fee TBC
- Be amazed by the Gergeti Trinity Church
Day 6
After breakfast we meet our guide at 8.30 am. We will discover Armenia in 1 day and learn about its history, people, culture, and modern life. See medieval UNESCO sites, and Soviet monuments, and enjoy a homemade lunch with a local family.
- See the UNESCO-listed Haghpat monastery
- Observe the unique mix of Soviet architecture and rocky mountains
- Taste traditional Armenian dishes cooked by a local family
- Admire the frescoes at the fortified monastery of Akhtala
- Take in beautiful mountain scenery as you cruise between sites
Day 7
Sadly our holiday comes to an end today, enjoy last minute shopping, hop on and hop off bus ride etc
Our fight is early evening with a stop over in Istanbul for 1 hr.

The program of the night is as follows :
7:00pm-9pm : Singles mixing and mingling9pm: The music goes up and it is time for dancing. DJ will be playing RnB, Hip Hop, Current Chart Hits, Popular Chart Classics and a splash of Disco and Funk.
Everyone arriving before 9pm receives a token for a complimentary drink ( you can choose between beer, prosecco or non alcoholic)

Dress code is smart/ elegant/ Smart Casual (smart dark jeans are fine but ripped jeans, sportswear, trainers/sportshoes and hats are not allowed).

This event is unhosted as am trading at this event, so if your in the area or looking for an outing for the day visit the fair, would be great to see you, however if not have a fantastic day. You will find a range of exhibitors showcasing their lovely wares, dance, listen to some music, eat some delicious food, have a drink and enjoy great vibes. Children friendly, dogs are welcome and it's free.

The Richmond May Fair is over fifty years old and is the town's biggest community event. Welcoming thousands of visitors and giving local charities the opportunity to publicise their work and raise much needed funding.
The 2024 Richmond May Fair was a huge success and our biggest fair to date with over 250 charity and small business stalls and welcoming over 5,000 visitors. We were entertained by 16 local bands, choirs and dance groups performing on the Riverside Radio stage. The charity barbecues run by Friends of St Matthias and First Richmond Scout Group served over 2,000 burgers and sausages! The Dog Show attracted a huge number of entries and onlookers. Judge Ian Stroud from Pet People had a difficult job choosing the winners! You can see photos from the day here
The 2025 Richmond May Fair is already shaping up to be even bigger and better than last year. New charity and business stalls, our usual charity barbecues, but also a wider range of delicious international cuisine, plenty of entertainment, our amazing Dog Show and of course the Fun Fair.
