Meet before 9 a.m., at 248 Mill St.Belleville NJ about 5 miles in 3 hours. Each spring, more than 4,000 cherry trees produce a panoply of blossoms, which are celebrated at the Annual Cherry Blossom Festival Week. The park has the largest collection of Japanese flowering trees in one location in the United States. Wear sneakers or hiking boots. No dogs, please. There is a visitor center, an athletic center, three indoor bathrooms and portable toilets.
