What we’re about
This group will be for organizing and supporting the growth of Pathfinder Society (PfS), and possibly Starfinder Society play in Palm Beach, Florida. The Pathfinder Society is a living campaign where you don't always have to play with the same people but instead can take your character from table to table. For those interested in trying something new,
Paizo (Pathfinder's publisher) is a leader of doing things the right way in the gaming community. For example,
1: When their workers chose to unionize, they cooperated and negotiated a successful contract within a year.
2: They support 100% real artists in their works
3: They are actively working on rooting out legacy concepts that need to go.
4: They have an incredibly wide LGBTQA+ representation in both their labor force and their game world.
5: When a certain legacy behemoth threatened to try to change the legal framework that has allowed third party publishing to thrive in the past twenty years, they spearheaded a campaign joined by over 1500 other companies to create a truly independent, robust legal framework that no one can ever threaten to change (the ORC alliance)
6: When a company internal error resulted in the accidental release of some early material, they simply asked the people who received it to hold it secret until the actual launch date instead of sending Pinkerton agents to their doors.
We are open to people of all levels of experience and backgrounds. Both players and GMs, and ideally people who sometimes wear one hat and sometimes the other are equally welcome.
