What we’re about
Welcome to the West San Gabriel Valley Concert Band.
While a new Meetup Group, the band is a combination of two long standing concert bands, the San Gabriel Valley Concert Band and the Monterey Park Concert Band.
The band rehearses on Monday evenings from 6:30-8:15 in Rosemead from late August through July 4th. We perform concerts throughout the year.
This is a standard concert band. (Flute, clarinet, saxophones, trumpet, trombone, baritone, tuba, percussion and other band instruments)
We do have string parts for most pieces, so String instruments are welcome to join us. (Violin, viola, cello, bass)
There are performers at varying levels, but this is not a band for true beginners. You need your own instrument.
The number of people signed up may not include all attendees. bring your instrument and join us for rehearsal.
