West Seattle Saunter

The West Seattle Saunter is a roughly 12-mile group walk beginning at the West Seattle Water Taxi Pier and then finishing at Alaska Junction. All are welcome and feel free to bring a friend! Walk the West Seattle loop with a bunch of fun people!

Begin at the West Seattle Water Taxi pier around 9am (there is a water Taxi leaving from pier 50 at 8:30am)

Head to Alki and get to the birthplace of Seattle monument around 9:45-10am

We will then walk along Beach View Drive to get to Colman Pool at Lincoln Park around 11:15am. We will hang out there for 15-20 mins and if folks want to end their journey there at the pool they are more than welcome to. This also acts as the halfway point in case folks want to meet us there. The C line is a great option to get you to Lincoln Park.

Get ready for some hills as we traverse our way up to the highest point in the city at Myrtle Reservoir Park. We aim to get here around 12:30pm.

Finally we plan to finish up at Alaska Junction around 1:30-2:00pm. Why Alaska Junction? Because it is where West Seattle Summer Fest is happening in case folks wanted to spend time and check out the biggest and best West Seattle has to offer.

Not interested in Summer Fest? Continue on California Ave back to the West Seattle Water Taxi to make it about a 15 mile day
