W. Shore LGBT+ Club Meetup disbanding!

To all those who joined this local LGBT+ group via Meetup. Thank you for doing so. However, because most of you do not sign up for events we have planned, as well as many of those who do RSVP but don’t show up or cancel, we intend to remove the group from Meetup. We haven’t figured out why you joined but don’t participate, but it’s obviously wasting time and energy attempting to get you interested. We get more attendees to participate via word of mouth and from notices going out to our growing email list of “non-Meetup” members. Tonight we had over 25 participants, none of which were any of you unfortunately. With this in mind, one last event will be posted for September’s LGBT+ Social. If we have another lack of Meetup attendance this time, this wonderful outlet to gather, meet others, socialize, and enjoy a few hours with your fellow LGBT community will be lost to you. It’s a use it or lose it situation.
Hope you’ll join in and we will get to finally meet you. We have over 45 non-Meetup members already who would love to welcome you. But if this Meetup venue ends, wishing you luck in your future LGBT social ventures.
