Blues Jam AND Open Mic Night

OK we're go for tomorrow, Saturday, April 29 at 7 PM for the blues jam an open mic night! Please RSVP if you plan on going so I can set up and print enough books. In an effort to get this open mic night off the ground, I'm attempting to do a joint event with our West Side Blues Jam group since it have several members. 7pm will be the Blues Jam. 8pmish will be an open mic night for any person, combo or band that would like to do a song. We can also play tracks if you want to play or sing to a track. If we get enough Open Mic participants, I'll set up a future dedicated open mic night just for this group.
For April 24th just bring your amps and instruments. Acoustic & Bass players can play straight through the PA if they don’t want to drag their amps. We have a sound system with a 18” sub, plenty of mics, Roland JUNO-DS Keyboard, and a Hammond XK-2 organ all set up for us. If someone commits to playing drums I'll try to bring a 5 piece Tama Drum kit, but I'm not gonna drag it in unless someone promises to play it.😎
Singers! We really need singers for the blues Jam! If you want to sing with the Blues Jammers, please reach out to me by text and let me know what blues tunes you would like to sing and we will try to learn them ahead of time. If you want to sing for the open mic night then it's up to you what you do for accompanyment.

This meeting is at a church, but it won’t be a religious meeting unless your religion is music. It's just a blues jam and open mic night for fun. Hope you can come on out. Please RSVP if you can make it.
