aelythyism

Aelythyism is my personal take on theology. If there was a “correct” religion, what would it be? My main idea is that religion is really all about lifestyle. Consider this: there are different genres of music, and you have your favorites and your not-so-favorites, same thing with clothing styles: you wear what speaks to you. Well, what if religions were like that? And there are so many different types of lifestyles that haven't even been discovered yet?

Alethes is the Greek word for truth— and if you're going to make a lifestyle support something, why not have it be truth? So, aelythyism (my stylized way of spelling alethes-ism), is at its core, an art project, but instead of having a taut fabric as its canvas, its canvas is people, and relationships, and things people do.

The tagline under aelythyism reads "Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics", STEAM instead of STEM— and each of those are a different frame from which to view truth from. Truth as Discovery, Truth as Progress, Truth as Design, Truth as Discipline, and Truth as Timeless Beauty.
