Please join your book club friends at Roberto's Ristorante in Elmhurst to discuss the critically acclaimed book The Correspondent by Virginia Evans. (This event, originally planned for our March meeting, had to be rescheduled for April due to stormy weather.)

NOTE: This book is extremely popular. If you are planning to borrow this book from the library, it is important that you place your request ASAP. Also, if you enjoy listening to books, there are comments that the audiobook for this book is very good.

The Correspondent has been widely lauded as a compelling, character-driven debut novel and received significant "word-of-mouth recommendations" and substantial praise from the respected writer Ann Patchett for the author's ability to create a complex, memorable main character entirely through letters and emails.

Newcomers are always welcome at our gatherings. Not a member yet? Go ahead and join our group and take advantage of the opportunity to discuss fascinating books with interesting people!

NOTE: Roberto's requires a $25 minimum food/beverage purchase.

Parking is available either 1) on the street, 2) in a lot behind the restaurant via the alley, or 3) in a lot across the street from the front of the restaurant.
