Summary:
On Golden Pond tells the story of an aging couple, Ethel and Norman Thayer, who spend their summers at their cabin on the lake. Their daughter, Chelsea, her fiancé Bill, and Bill's son, Billy, visit, leading to confrontations and revelations about the couple's relationship, Chelsea's relationship with her father, and the difficulties of bridging the generation gap.
